The COVID restrictions create an opportunity to have more time to reflect on God’s word. Can we encourage you to please go through ALL the material on the website, in various sections including the Youth Teaching”, and use the material to deepen your walk with Our Lord God. Also try the challenge below…

A challenge: Have you ever read a complete book of the New Testament? At Mass we get sections of the gospels or epistles, sometimes with verses missing, to fit with a theme for the Sunday. But hearing God’s word in this way is like reading a book with some pages missing. So try using the COVID-time restrictions as an opportunity to read God’s word in a different way. Try reading all of St Luke’s gospel followed by Acts of the Apostles. Then try reading the epistles starting with St Paul’s letter to the Romans. Make notes of anything that is new to you or surprises you. If you do not have a Bible at home use www.biblegateway.com which has several Catholic translations available in the dropdown menu options.

We are a Roman Catholic Church located on Beverley Road in Kingston upon Hull. We are just near the start of the dual carriageway, when heading out of the city centre, in the centre of “The Village” Hull University Student Accommodation buildings. We are a friendly welcoming church with, before COVID struck,  about 200 on average on Sundays;  squeezing in 405 for First Communion Sunday in 2018 was a real challenge but we managed it. We have a number of active groups and good fellowship.

Parking is available on Beverley Road (please do not obstruct driveways of neighbouring houses) and on Sundays the car park linked to The Village (student accommodation) is available – turn into driveway (which runs between the 2 blocks of buildings) and immediately turn right into the fenced off area.

For those with a disability parking at the door of the church is possible, but this fills up quickly as space is very limited.
